VirusBarrier Express is a free anti-virus tool based on Intego VirusBarrier.

VirusBarrier Express provides free protection from viruses, Trojan horses and other types of malware including Windows malware so its safe to accept files from Windows users. VirusBarrier Express doesn't provide realtime protection though - it can only be run manually on any file, folder or volume on your Mac.

You can repair infected files via and easy to use GUI although there's also a command-line tool which allows administrative users to scan and repair files. The interface is slick and simple enabling you to schedule scans, blacklist trusted files and folders and it's regularly updated with new virus definitions.

VirusBarrier Express is handy for checking the odd file now and again although its not suitable for those seeking realtime protection.
